Susan Gleeson is the Head of Academic English Development and Whole School English Strategy at North London Collegiate School Jeju, South Korea. She holds a Master of Applied Linguistics, Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics,Bachelor of Applied Science, and Bachelor of Education, complemented by qualifications in TESOL and training and assessment. Susan specialises in Korean L1, English L2 learners, focusing on leveraging data—from student language profiles to corpus analysis of speech patterns—to inform and enhance classroom pedagogy.
