About me
Françoise has been teaching for over 15 years specializing in additional language education. She has taught in Japan, Canada and has been in Beijing, China since 2017. During her time in Beijing, she has worked in two IB-PYP schools as both a literacy coordinator and an EAL teacher. Françoise has her Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Education, and her Master’s of Education. She holds a teaching license in elementary education as well as her Structured Literacy Certificate from the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. As a lifelong learner, she continues her own professional development with studies in the Science of Reading and MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support). She recently received her International IBEN workshop leader certificate from the International Baccalaureate Organization and her Instructional Leadership Certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is passionate about multilingualism and advocates for all her students through evidence-based strategies that promote inclusive educational practices.
