About me
I'm Courtney Sidsworth, an EAL specialist with over 14 years of experience in international education. I hold a Master’s in Curriculum Studies and am passionate about leveraging students' linguistic strengths to foster their social and emotional growth. I believe in collective teacher efficacy and strive to create inclusive, equitable learning environments. Currently, I teach First Grade EAL at the International School of Beijing, where I focus on differentiated instruction and meaningful partnerships with teachers, students and families.
