Participants will learn about the VSA action research project in conjunction with the MLRC. An academic vocabulary action research project focused on enhancing students' vocabulary acquisition through targeted interventions. Through identifying specific vocabulary challenges faced by students and implementing strategies such as explicit instruction, word maps, and contextual learning. Data is collected through assessments and observations to measure vocabulary growth and engagement. The project aims to foster a deeper understanding of language, improve reading comprehension, and support academic success. Findings will help refine teaching practices and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.
