Participants will explore how to integrate content vocabulary with morphemes to create engaging word study lessons. In this session, attendees will (1) recognize how morphemes can enhance students' understanding of vocabulary and improve their overall literacy skills, (2) watch a video demonstration of a word study lesson, showcasing practical applications of morpheme and content integration, (3) participate in a hands-on activity that simulates a word study lesson, allowing participants to practice techniques, and (4) engage in discussions with peers to share insights, challenges, and successes related to vocabulary instruction and morpheme integration.
